Why Are Fertility Medications Prescribed?
Fertility medications may be prescribed to women for infertility conditions related to ovulation. Without ovulation, eggs can not be fertilized. Without fertilization, there can not be a pregnancy. Certain medications are successful in helping to induce ovulation for women with PCOS or other hormonal imbalance conditions.
