Female Fertility Testing

Whether you're looking for a simple baseline or a more comprehensive look at your reproductive health,

our Fertility Wellness Screening options can help you better understand where you stand.

When considering testing your fertility we know that cost and transparent pricing is an important factor. These are self-pay prices, and final payment is paid at the time testing is performed. Insurance will not be billed for these services.

Basic Female Fertility Wellness Screening

Two essential measures of ovarian reserve for women who are planning for the future, considering pregnancy, or seeking a convenient starting point for understanding their fertility.

$80

  • Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) Blood Test – assessing your ovarian reserve
  • Basic Transvaginal Ultrasound – to evaluate the uterus and ovaries

Important: Ovarian-reserve screening estimates egg quantity, not egg quality, the ability to conceive naturally, or the chance of a live birth. It does not evaluate the fallopian tubes.

What You Receive:

Your screening results and direction on whether additional evaluation or a physician consultation may be helpful.

Advanced Female Fertility Wellness Screening

A broader fertility wellness picture for women seeking more information than a basic ovarian-reserve screening.

$280

  • Fertility History Review – to review your menstrual, pregnancy, medical, and surgical history and review your results with a provider
  • Basic Transvaginal Ultrasound – to evaluate the uterus and ovaries
  • Ovarian Reserve Testing – includes FSH, LH, and estradiol
  • Thyroid and Prolactin Testing – includes TSH, free T4, and prolactin to screen selected hormonal factors (fasting is required for 12 hours prior to lab test)

  • BBT and Vitamin Guidance - to provide instruction on basal body temperature chart (BBT) and recommended vitamins

Important: Does not include HSG, saline/sono-HSG, tubal-patency testing, genetic carrier screening, Pap testing, or a physician consultation. Screening cannot identify every cause of infertility or guarantee future fertility.

What You Receive:

A consolidated screening summary and guidance on next steps from a provider.

Nervous about getting the results of your fertility wellness screening?

A woman may choose to undergo female fertility testing for various reasons, depending on her individual circumstances and reproductive goals. Here are some common reasons why a woman might opt for fertility testing:

A woman may undergo fertility testing when she and her partner are actively trying to conceive. This can help identify any potential issues that may affect fertility and allow for timely intervention or guidance.

If a woman has been trying to conceive for an extended period without success, she may choose to undergo fertility testing to investigate potential causes of infertility. This can help identify specific issues that may be hindering conception.

Fertility tends to decline with age, and some women may choose to assess their fertility status if they are planning to delay childbearing. Testing female fertility provides information about the ovarian reserve and help women make informed decisions about their reproductive timeline.

Women with irregular menstrual cycles may undergo fertility testing to understand the underlying causes of irregularities. Hormonal imbalances or other issues may affect fertility, and testing can help diagnose and address these concerns.

Women who experience recurrent pregnancy loss may undergo fertility testing to identify potential causes. Understanding the underlying factors can help healthcare providers develop appropriate strategies to manage or mitigate the risk of future losses.

Certain medical conditions or medical treatments, such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) or cancer treatments, can impact fertility. Women may choose to undergo fertility testing to assess the potential impact of these factors on their reproductive health.

Some women opt for fertility testing as part of a preconception health assessment to ensure that they are in optimal health for pregnancy. This may include assessing factors such as hormone levels, ovarian function, and overall reproductive health.
